  • There is still an opportunity to bring your coin-box donation for 2006-2007 (which goes to the Foundation and counts toward the Paul Harris Award) up to a round $100.
  • French exchange student Charlène will arrive today, staying first with Arlene for a few days.
  • Kim Lang: Donations may still be needed for the school supply program. Packing next week.
  • Time to start planning for the Chicken Barbecue.

Tom Rumbaugh, Sergeant at Arms, showed off for his Dad and Aunt Dixie.

Program: Dick McNutt (President) and Max Miller (Secretary) conducted the annual meeting of the Millersburg Rotary Club Scholarship and Loan Foundation for 2007.

Meeting in Progress

  • The minutes of the preceding meeting (June 21, 2006) were read and approved.
  • Board Member Darla Stitzlein was renominated and unanimously re-elected.
  • Secretary Max Miller was renominated and unanimously re-elected.
  • The Financial Report for the fiscal year 6/1/2006 to 5/31/2006 was received and approved.
  • There are 6 delinquent loans outstanding, 4 of which are considered hopelessly uncollectable.
  • There has been received a thank-you letter, accompanying early repayment, from one loan recipient.
  • A question from the floor led to clarification that the usual loan is $1,500 per year for 4 years; after a grace period of 1 year, the loan begins to accrue interest at 6%.
  • The meeting was duly adjourned.
